Now i understand these programs work for a lot of people and i am grateful they found sobriety by any means but with me i was already a mess and i didnt need it to be worse and i am afraid the God as you understand Him and the higher power just didnt work for me and now i can say what did work for me has kept me 15 months sober. Now, I dont myself agree with the entirety of 12 Step philosophyas they say you can take what you like and leave the rest which is freedom.
